đź’¬ Why Peer Support Specialists Matter
Peer Support Specialists are a vital part of the mental health ecosystem. They are trained peers — not therapists — who use lived experience and evidence-informed peer practices to foster connection, understanding, and hope.
Peer support is about being witnessed, not assessed.
It’s about authenticity, not perfection.
And it’s about remembering you don’t have to navigate life alone.
